Staggering growth in online retail amid recession

If anyone was in any doubt as to the future of retail, here is yet more proof that online may be – if not recession proof – then at least recession resistant. Mango ended 2008 with an increase in sales of 35% over the previous year.
What’s the key to its success? Free delivery to a large number of European countries on orders above a certain minimum, as well as a simple returns policy both ensure that customers keep clicking away.
